Fundación Cuba Avant-Garde supports the work of US-based nonprofit cultural organizations by providing strategic funding, up to $5,000, to advance and promote their efforts to explore Cuban art and culture.
Fundacion Cuba Avant-Garde is an independent, private foundation dedicated to advocating, promoting, supporting, and fostering connoisseurship of contemporary Cuban art and culture.
To aid in fostering broader international recognition of Cuban art and culture, Fundación Cuba Avant-Garde also maintains the website Cuban Art News (cubanartnews.org). Cuban Art News offers news and updates on Cuban art and cultural activities worldwide, with a mix of original coverage, aggregated content, and links. It covers art exhibitions, film festivals, dance performances, new books of interest, and other cultural topics.

- Looks to foster greater opportunities for audiences to learn about and better understand the rich contribution of Cuban art and artists to international contemporary culture.
- Trusts that through the arts, people from all walks of life can benefit from the inclusive and rich exchange of ideas about Cuban art and culture, and the creativity they can inspire.
- Seeks to advance this dialogue by providing resources to innovative nonprofit organizations engaged in this work.
In 2010, applications will be accepted on or before November 1, 2010.
